THI^®S-819 curing and leveling agent for insulating paint

The phenolic resin modified with a special heat-resistant group is added to the enameled wire paint and mixed evenly. It can improve the surface performance of the enameled wire, eliminate surface crystal and discontinuous particles, enhance the product surface leveling performance, make the surface smooth and even, and improve the DV value of enameled wire. The surface color (golden to reddish brown) of the enameled wire can be adjusted by the amount used. It can also improve the scratch resistance and thermal shock performance of the enameled wire.
THIS-819 curing and leveling agent for insulating paint is a phenolic resin solution. It is a light yellow to amber-colored transparent liquid with a phenol odor. It is miscible with aromatic hydrocarbons, alkanes, halogenated hydrocarbons, esters, ketones, tung oil, phenols, alcohols, etc.

This product is mainly used in the coating and painting industry. This product can impart hardness, gloss, quick-drying, water resistance, acid and alkali resistance and insulation properties to the paint. It can be widely used in woodware, furniture, construction, shipbuilding, machinery, electrical and chemical anti-corrosion industries.
In addition to using alone, it can also be used in combination with other synthetic resins. For example, it can be used with alkyd resin to increase the moisture resistance and alkali resistance of the alkyd resin; it can be used with polyvinyl acetal to produce high-strength wire enamel, which can increase its hardness and wear resistance; and it can be used with polyester and polyamide resins to paint presswork and paper products. This product can promote better gloss of paint and good wear-resistance of paint film.

Add it to the paint below 120°C, stir evenly. The amount of addition is 1.5-3.0%.
