The demulsifier can eliminate the interference of the electrical double layer and quickly approach the emulsion interface to make the two phases easier to separate, thereby greatly improving the demulsification ability of the fermentation broth. the product has good demulsification effect and the dosage is only about 100ppm. It can also improve the yield of penicillin. The yield can be stabilized at 94% and above. The product has high impurity removal rate. Less impurities and pigments are brought into the product and there is no demulsifier residue in the ester phase of the extraction layer. This helps to improve the quality of penicillin finishing products, save penicillin production costs, and has no bad odour, which is why our product is very popular among workers in pharmaceutical factories.

The following test compares the demulsifying effect of THI®X-P628demulsifier with the other two demulsifiers.
Take 50ml of penicillin filtrate and 20ml of butyl acetate, add 1-2ml (200-400ppm) of demulsifier (2% aqueous solution), add sulfuric acid (1.2%), adjust PH value to 1.9-2.1, stir at 3000r/min for 2 minutes, take 1ml of solution, place it in a centrifuge tube and centrifuge at 2000r/min for 2-3 minutes (Table 1); place the remaining solution in a graduated cylinder and let it stand. Observe the separation of oil and water phases (Table 2).

It is widely used in the fermentation broth of penicillin and erythromycin.
Add 0.1-0.15Kg (100-150ppm) per ton, mix it evenly, and let it stand for settling.
Stir well before use.
