THI^®X-318 paint and ink defoamer

This defoamer is specially developed for ink and water-based paints. It can effectively control foam formation. It has good compatibility and it does not impact the effect of inks and paints.

①Excellent defoaming effect, can prevent the formation of small and large bubbles.
②Good compatibility, assists film-forming, no shrinkage or fish eye effects.
③ Stable chemical properties, heat resistant, strong acid and alkali resistant. It can maintain good defoaming effect in different conditions (within pH range: 4-12).
④ Improve the leveling, wettability, abrasion resistance and smoothness of inks and paints.
⑤Small dosage, fast drying, does not affect the lustre and transparency of paints and inks.

Suitable for water-based ink, water-based acrylic emulsion, high-viscosity white latex, glue, EVA705 emulsion, latex, polymer glue, acrylic acid emulsion polymerization, modified starch, polyvinyl alcohol, putty powder, other polymer systems, water-based latex paint, waterproof paint, water-based polyurethane, etc. It can also be used for defoaming of water-based inks, water-reducible resins, water-based epoxy resins, water-based color pastes, slurries, and papermaking coating.

Generally, the amount of addition should be 0.05-0.2% of the total amount. The specific dosage should be determined by trials.
In the production of paints, it is recommended to add 50% of the total amount of defoamer before grinding to suppress the generation of foam, and then add the rest 50% after grinding. This product can be added directly added without dilution.
