THI^®X-418 defoamer for papermaking

This product is specially designed for the foam generated in various processes of papermaking industries. This product can quickly eliminate the foam generated by lignin and other surfactants. It shows great defoaming effects in pulping, pulp washing, papermaking, and sewage treatment.

① Excellent defoaming effect, reduce negative impact of foam on papermaking, avoids formation of holes, reduces paper breaks, and prevent overflow from the storage tank.

③ Can be completely dehydrated, improve the efficiency of papermaking and enhance the strength of the paper web.
④Improve the retention rate of filler, reduce the filler content in white water, reduce the loss and thus reduce the cost of papermaking.
⑤ Reduce the concentration and ash content of the pulp slurry ready to be screened and extend the life of the paper sheet to be formed.
⑥It can remove fiber and wet end chemicals, improve the smoothness and opacity of the paper, thus improving the quality of the paper.

It is suitable for papermaking processes such as pulping, pulp washing, papermaking, and sewage treatment.

It can be directly added to the foam by using a dropping pump. If it is necessary to control the amount added, water can be added to the defoamer for dilution before use.
In the papermaking process, the defoamer needs to be added before the pulp slurry is loaded to the screens. The defoamer can be added to the head tank or the white water tank. If these tanks are not applicable, the defoamer can also be added into the tank which pulp is recycled to. The amount of addition is 200-500g per ton of paper produced.
